9:53p Tales From the Underworld - 11/9/09 Cartel-ites, Awesome time last Saturday at Next Era Wrestling. The beautiful thing about it was that everyone was in a great mood. It was fun, and has been fun since about April, when the UWC returned. I realized a few things that show. 1) PJ Hansen should always wear a shirt. lol 2) A lot of kids like both Subarasshi Pumpokeen and The Emanons 3) A lot of people HATE me. The Tag Team Champions were represented this show by Tyger and Titus Smith, and were successfully retained. The Latin Soldier made his claim for the brand new Next Division Championship (which I assure you, he will win EASILY), and I managed to ensure that I was the first champion to NOT lose his title to an Ascension winner. Kinda spoiled some people's predictions, especially those in attendance whom thought Brian Emanon was going to mop the floor with me, and as it turned out, I did a pretty good job laying the boots to him. Sure, he won by DQ, but what can he show for it, besides some busted up ribs, a blown out wheel, and a nice cut on his forehead from when I cracked him over the skull with the belt. End of story. Now, this takes me to December 5th, the 29th anniversary of my prestigious birth, and Fallout. I will be reuniting Team F-View, the original bad boys of N.E.W. and we will be taking on Brodie Lee and Brian Emanon. Should be fun, we'll probably win again but I'm sure it won't be without a fight. Speaking of fights, I'm now getting into The Ultimate Fighter. It's a pretty sweet show, and I wish I had gotten into it sooner. I wasn't a believer in MMA before, but now I'm slowly coming around. Besides, any MMA'er I have met before has been nothing but classy and nice....unless you piss em off. lol Well folks, I'm off to prepare again. Mentally for December 5th. Quick note, gotta make some room for new inventory, I still have some old JC Money shirts from the "Mr. Rochester" era. Cutting them down in price. $10.00 for the 2008 JC Money "Splat" shirt, $8.00 for the few remaining 2007 Supermoney Logo shirts. You can buy em online, or at N.E.W. Redemption. The problem was not found on our equipment, which means we'll have to work with our ISP to fix this small problem -- which also means another maintenance window in the future -- but at least we have eliminated our side. Thank you everyone, and a special shout out to rekoil for giving me a great suggestion AND also the opportunity to feel like I've just called in to a local radio station. Have a great day, night or afternoon wherever you may be. --- Hi everyone, sorry for the late notice but I'm going to have to do some testing on 1 of our 4 internet circuits TONIGHT; Friday night or Saturday morning depending on which time zone you're in. Most of us shouldn't notice any impact, though there may be some slowness or lag when I switch traffic on to our other ISP circuits and then another hit when I stop the tests. If a page won't load or times out, try hitting refresh 1 or 2 times and it should load then. If it doesn't work at all... trust me, I'll be typing really really really fast to try to undo whatever I just did. Hopefully you'll have some Halloween candy (if you're in the USA and celebrate that kind of thing) nearby to take away the bitterness of a small site outage. :( Here's the handy-dandy Website That I Always Use to get a feel for when the maintenance will start in your area. Our site traffic historically dips on Friday afternoons until Saturday morning which is why we tend to pick this time for maintenance work.
